Technology-Assisted Therapy refers to distance professional services involving the use of electronic or other means (i.e. telephones, computers, etc.) to provide counseling services. The methods in which Jamy Hunter offers technology-assisted counseling include:
Telephone-based: synchronous distance interaction in which information is received only through audio means
Video-based: synchronous distance interaction in which information is received via video and audio mechanisms
The primary method used will be video-based counseling. In the event that internet is not working properly and/or the connection is lost, the back-up will be to use telephone-based means of interaction. Please call 479-287-7099 if video-based connection is lost. In order to ensure that confidentiality is maintained, you will be asked to identify the code word that has been previously discussed between you and Jamy Hunter.
